ABOUT US
The Riverside Education Group was established to provide expert advice and insights to enhance the success and value of the Riverside educational initiatives. The Advisory Committee is made up of highly regarded professionals from both business and education.

Their primary function is to support the governance of the Riverside entities. They provide critical thinking, feedback and analysis to help decision making across the Riverside Education Group entities. In addition, their expertise and independence assist in cohesion across the entities and offers a chance to explore opportunities.

RIVERSIDE STUDENT SUPPORT CENTRE
The Riverside Student Support Centre offers support for ‘at risk’ mainstream secondary students who require some time away from their mainstream school of origin in order to re-establish the skills and confidence to return to mainstream schooling.
​
​Students attending the Riverside Student Support Centre remain enrolled at their school of origin, although on some occasions (following expulsion for example), they may access our support in the interim period between school enrolments. ​​
​
​The Riverside Student Support Centre is a registered charity with Deductible Gift Recipient Status (DGR). ​The Riverside Student Support Centre operates under the guidance of a board appointed in accordance with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profit Commission (ACNC).
The Riverside Student Support Centre operates in compliance with the requirements for incorporation in the State of Victoria and adheres to the Australian Taxation Office's regulations for charities. We are committed to upholding all relevant legislation, including:​

The operations of the Riverside Student Support Centre are overseen by a board consisting of three members.​
RIVERSIDE ACCESS
Riverside Access is a specialised youth work provider that assists young people access educational and disability services. Riverside Access has been established to provide tutoring and disability (NDIS) services to young people in need under self-managed and plan managed NDIS plans.

Riverside Access is managed by Kate Bevan BAcc, BA, DipEd, DipCommServ, GradCertYouthMH.

Riverside Access operates in compliance with the legal and regulatory requirements of the State of Victoria and upholds all relevant legislation to ensure the safety, dignity, and rights of all individuals, including people with disabilities.

RIVERSIDE DOG THERAPY PROGRAM
Run at the Harris Family Farm in the Otway Ranges, our program provides an opportunity for individuals to experience the therapeutic benefits of working with dogs in a natural, supportive environment. This setting is integral to our holistic approach, promoting both mental well-being and a sense of connection to nature.

Managed by Dr. Jon Carnegie through Carnegie Education, Riverside Dog Therapy is dedicated to delivering evidence-based support, guided by principles of empathy, respect, and individualized care. Dr. Jon Carnegie is a renowned educator with a Bachelor Education, Doctorate of Education, Diploma of Youth Work and a Cert IV Training and Assessment.

Riverside Dog Therapy Program operates as a sole trader providing dog therapy services in compliance with the legal and regulatory requirements of the State of Victoria. We are committed to upholding all relevant legislation to ensure the safety, well-being, and dignity of our clients.

Riverside Desert Program provides an opportunity for individuals to experience an immersive learning experience that takes young people out of their comfort zone so they can address the issues that are holding them back from success. Managed by Dr. Jon Carnegie through Carnegie Education, the program takes young people out of the environment that is contributing to their issues and enables them to gain clarity and develop the skills and confidence they need to move forward. EDGE Worldwide is a not-for-profit charity certified by the Australian Charities and Not-for-profit Commission (ACNC) and has been created by experts in the field of social development and education and overseen by board members with legal, social development and accounting expertise. Our founder and chairman is the Founder and CEO of EDventure International, Jamie Christopherson. He has been developing and executing educational and social development projects across 6 continents for more than 15 years, focusing on empowering communities in need through education and gradually creating the scope for social change.

We recognise that AI Governance Framework is an emerging area. At present, there isn’t a specific federal law focused solely on AI regulation in Australia, but there is ongoing discussion about AI governance and ethical guidelines. The Australian government has been working on frameworks and strategies to govern AI technologies, and this may affect AI educational services in the future.
